Bring the Gospel
to the Frontiers

Bring Good News to the Frontiers

Frontiers is a mission agency focused on reaching Muslims. Our goal is simple—with love and respect, invite all Muslim peoples to follow Jesus.

Who We Are

A community of believers burdened for the Muslim world.

Focused on the least-reached

Join a team or start a new work among some of the least-reached Muslim peoples in the world.

Innovators and Pioneers

Frontiers gives workers the freedom to try new things, live out their ministry style, and pioneer new fields.

What We're About

Muslims

Our priority is bringing the Good News to the least-reached Muslim peoples—populations that have no viable, sustainable Gospel witness in their midst.

Movements

Everything we do contributes toward planting healthy, reproducing churches through teams of disciples who make more disciples among Muslims.

Grace-Filled

We seek to be full of grace toward one another within biblical parameters. We honor different convictions about theological emphases and ministry approaches.

Field-Leadership

Team leaders make decisions for their own context and, collectively, for the organization. Responsibility for ministry effectiveness is taken by those closest to the action.

Working In Teams

Our teams serve together with a common vision for a region and the freedom to adopt and pursue locally appropriate strategies.

Coaching & Accountability

We are dedicated to lifelong learning, mentoring, and upgrading.

Opportunities

Next steps to keep you moving forward

Option 1

Go Long-Term

Ready to go all in?

Join a Frontiers team serving long-term among an unreached Muslim people group.

As part of a team, you’ll work together to make disciples, plant churches, and bring lasting kingdom transformation.

It’s a huge task, but take heart! God is already in these places preparing the hearts and minds of the people—He simply invites us to join Him.

The cost is high, but Jesus is worth it.

What does long-term mission look like?

Becoming all things to all people

At Frontiers, long-term missions looks like living, working, and being a part of a team in a Muslim majority community, with the goal of seeing disciples made and churches formed in a way that can be ultimately reproduced without our own direct efforts.

How we go about doing those things looks differently depending on the team and the field, but sustainable, reproducing fruit is the goal.

How long is long-term?

As long as we're able

Practically, how long we end up serving depends on individual circumstances and how God leads, but the goal is to be there long enough to see sustainable fruit formed.

Our workers often go with a mindset of “as long as it takes” or “as long as we’re able.”

What kind of people are we looking for?

Humble learners

On the mission field, particularly among the unreached and unengaged, there’s no guarantee of “success” and there’s an enemy ready and waiting to oppose you.

With that in mind, we want to be people who are humble learners—people who rely more on God than ourselves.

We want to be people who can stay rooted in Him, even when things feel dry and deserted, and people who can remain faithful regardless of the outcome.

We don’t expect anyone to fully embody these characteristics, but we want to be people are pursuing them.

Option 2

Go Short-Term

Want to see if you have what it takes?

Go short-term to a Muslim-majority country and discover if you are called to missions in the Muslim world!

Going on a short-term trip is a great way to confirm if God is calling you to serve long-term.

What's our next trip?

Learn the Languages of the Muslim World

Join us for a Language Learning Internship in the Muslim world.

For six weeks, you will learn the foundations of the local language, build deep friendships with local Christians and Muslims, and discover if you are called to missions in the Muslim world.

Why language learning?

Statistics show that workers who learn the language fluently are ten times more likely to see churches planted. Learning a language will better prepare you for the most important calling of a lifetime.

At the end of your six weeks, it's our goal that you will have a clear answer to one of the most important questions: "Has God called me to missions?"

So, what are you waiting for? Click the button below to get started!

Why go short-term?

See if you have what it takes

Have you ever looked at a picture of a crowded street in India and wondered, “Could I really live there?”

Why not try it and find out?

It’s sometimes hard to imagine yourself in a totally foreign context because there are so many unknowns, but by going short-term you get an up close look at how it works.

You may be surprised at just how “cut out for it” you are.

Learn from Long-Term Workers

Another benefit of our short-term trips is they’re hosted by our long-term workers. That means you’ll get to peek into their lives and get a picture of what yours could be like.

Not only will you get to see where they live and work, how the team operates, and how they interact with their Muslim friends, but you’ll get to try these things out for yourself.

Option 3

Get Resources & Training

Looking for more information?

Sign up for our newsletter to receive updates about resources, trainings, and community events for those exploring missions among Muslims.

It’s a great step for anyone who wants to learn more about all things related to Muslim ministry, long-term missions, and who we are.

In doing so, you’ll be joining 8,000+ others who are exploring missions and discovering what it takes to follow Christ to the ends of the earth!

Why get resources & training?

Continue learning and discerning

Sometimes the next best step is to continue learning.

We know that the discernment process is different for everyone, so we want to help as much as possible.

With that in mind, our goal is to help you in the discernment process by providing relevant information and presenting an accurate picture of who we are and what long-term missions among Muslims can look like.

Grow with others in community

We also host a lot of community events like webinars, training groups, and online hangouts.

These community events are a great way to connect with Frontiers staff and field workers, as well as other people who are considering long-term missions.
